We talked about making patterns using our fingers. Children were asked to choose two colours and copy, continue and create a repeating pattern to decorate fish body. This can be continued at home with beads, coloured pegs, talk through the process to reinforce the colours used to make the patterns.
This week we are learning 'k' letter sound, we have been looking for things beginning with 'k' sround the classroom and will be making kites later in the week.
A new module has been added to the website page, it covers, colours, sequencing numbers, recycling materials and sorting shapes and will reinforce work covered in class.
The photographer will be in school on Wednesday 12th May to take class photographs. All children should wear school uniform. The full time children will not be affected, but as the photographs will be taken in the morning all ladybirds and bees are asked to attend in the morning only.
